Sisters in Stripes

Sisters in Stripes is a Facebook group I created where members are more like friends, instead of just people who share a disorder. It's about sharing life's ups and downs with others who know exactly what your going through. I've been diagnosed for almost 13 years now and have yet to come across a 'blog' like this. A place where newly diagnosed people can come and see what their next steps should be. A place where you can find great articles without having to search for them (or have a crazy folder with 50+ bookmarks saved!). As time goes on I am sure this will end up changing in focus, to be a place where people like me are looking for.

The term 'Sisters in Stripes' came about when a group of amazing women and I were describing how we felt much more like sisters then even our own biological sisters. That's when I came up with the fact that we are 'Sisters in Stripes'
